Exercise gym ball

I recommend the gym ball for stretching out your stiff back after a day bent over a computer. All you do is lie back onto it and relax while gravity eases out the tensions. You can use them for other things as well, such as exercises (buy the DVD if that appeals to you). The manufacturers recommend the following sizes, according to your height:

  • 5'0"/152cm or less - 45cm Ball
  • 5'1" - 5'6"/155 - 167cm - 55cm Ball
  • 5'7" - 6'1"/170 - 185cm - 65cm Ball
  • 6'2"/188cm or above - 75cm Ball

If you are in doubt I suggest you choose smaller rather than larger, it makes it much easier to balance and the tighter curve gives you a better stretch. Don't forget to order a pump if you don't already have one. Ordering information here.
